Can there be Truth?
What it seems to point at is that the only constant seems to be Consciousness, and that reality is a construct of Consciousness - if that is so, then it would seem eminently feasible for there to be more than one truth while we exist at the lower levels. Even if, at the connection level where all Consciousness is One, there is only Truth, we are not at that level and so can only see what is true for us.
And those truths seem to vary according to a variety of factors. Our experience seems to alter what we can see, as does our level of awareness. Pre-defined beliefs also appear to affect what we think of as reality. So in any random selection of (say) 100 people, the chances seem good that there will be at least 100 truths.
And saying there is an over-arching Truth begs the question of who it is who defines or holds that truth. Given the distinctly imaginary feel to our Reality, we cannot use the ability to find corroborating evidence within the plenum as a criteria for Truth - it might just be programmed in that way. We can’t use personal feeling for a general truth - too many have done that and killed thousands or millions. And we can’t use agreed upon values as truth - there seems no universal law that says 12 men agreeing have to be righter than one man deciding. (the democracy myth)
So I don’t know if Truth is important for us to know. But I think that, like happiness, it is very important for us to seek it.
