Creation? Or Big Bang?
A problem with thinking about the origin of it all, the Creation, is What created the creation? Thinking about it can get one really twisted up inside as we try to wrestle with concepts that may not only be unknown, but may actually be unknowable within this Reality. I don’t know if the Origin CAN be known until we know just what the Creation is. Until we know that we can’t really know what is outside the Creation, so it becomes a Known Unknown.
What we know is all tied up with being inside this reality – on occasion it seems as if we get glimpses of what may lie outside the boundaries which seem so complete, such as in moments of enlightenment when we glimpse connectedness and majesty in a moment that usually changes our life. Edgar Cayce may have been glimpsing outside the boundaries with his trance knowledge – the location of the Akashic knowledge may be ingrained in the fabric of reality or it may be the ‘sub-conscious’ content of Consciousness or it might be something outside of our possible experiential world altogether.
So, if we are Created, who or what created us? We can chase the question down into madness if we wish – once we decide who created us we have to ask, who created them, and so on…
If the Universe began as a Big Bang (and remember this is an hypothesis only, supported by some evidence which could also point at other conclusions, (like the background cosmic radiation) and propped up by such fancies as Dark Matter, Dark Energy and Inflation, all of which are very strange concepts in our Universe) then we are required to ask just what existed before the Big Bang. Again this marches down the regression path.
